JOB DESCRIPTION :

Troy Consulting, a Management Consulting Firm, is seeking a Project Manager with Modern SharePoint expertise for our client, in Redmond, Washington.

We are looking for a highly engaged Project Manager with the skills and experience to manage a Web Modernization Initiative a program focused on the optimization, release management and ongoing operations and support of Classic and Modern SharePoint sites.

What Will You Be Doing?

Your primary focus will be working hand in hand with a global team focused on strong partner experiences with small, medium and corporate level customers. The team serves these customers through Digital Sales managed accounts, field specialist teams, demand response motions, and a broad partner network. You will work hand in hand with the team to ensure a strong partner experience.

  • Project Management: Direct the project lifecycle manage schedules, status, issues, risks and stakeholder relations.
  • Oversee and Manage SharePoint Development/Administration
  • Optimize SharePoint Sites/Pages: Provide oversight and management of client requests; validate functionality and end user requirements.
  • Release Management: Manage/schedule/coordinate releases and prioritization efforts. Ensure client engagement and approvals for all releases; Support release communications. Support User Acceptance Testing.
  • SharePoint Guidance/Training: Support development of key training materials.
  • Administration/Support: Monitor administration activities to track and manage all support activities; Manage and report on SLAs.
  • Communications: Provide regular status updates for all levels of business stakeholders; Build and manage communications with partners; Develop and drive orientation sessions; Develop/Drive communications plans; Promote required team communications, as needed
  • What you should bring to the table?

    • Teamwork Ability to work closely with colleagues to find solutions to business problems excellent communication and teamwork skills are a must
    • Demonstrated Classic and Modern SharePoint experience Understanding and use of and deployment of Classic and Modern SharePoint solutions at an enterprise level
    • Creativity Find solutions to problems and think outside the box to fix issues
    • Attention to detail a keen talent for spotting and fixing mistakes to avoid project related issues
    • 5+ years of Information Technology experience
    • 5+ years of project management experience
    • 3+ years of web-based software development project management experience
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field or Degree plus experience
