shift:7am-3:30pm Monday thru Friday.
Education: High School diploma or GED
Minimum Job Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years experience in shipping receiving warehousing or accounting/administrative work.
Read write speak and understand instructions given in English.
Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Knowledge of transportation and warehouse systems.
Ability to demonstrate proficiency of Microsoft Office including intermediate knowledge of MS EXCEL e-mail and computerized SAP systems.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work eight-hour shifts 12-hour shifts weekends or other work schedules as determined by business need including overtime holidays as required.
Responsibilities:
scheduling truck appointments verifying freight and warehouse invoices reporting and researching SAP issues verifying receipts and entering metrics.
Perform all tasks in a safe manner to ensure achievement of Quality Service and Cost objectives.
Comply with all standard operating procedures and requirements under TCCC Quality System.
Using SAP as the primary tool facilitate the movement of CCNA material to ensure the correct quantity of the right material flows to the required destinations at the planned pace. This could involve interfacing with trucking dispatchers/drivers 3pl warehouses and CCNA facilities.
Essential Duties:
Manage shipping and receiving schedule including setting appointment times and Understand and proficiently use a computerized system (SAP).
Assist when needed in manage the docks and prioritize loads in a manner to ensure on time delivery and minimal detention.
Interact with 3pl warehouses and truck/tanker drivers/dispatchers and various departments in CCNA to schedule and distribute products.
Ability to investigate historical transactions and perform product recalls of finish goods.
Perform and monitor SAP transactions to ensure timely and accurate information. (receipts shipments sto’s returns and purchase orders) Coordinate warehouse inventories to ensure adequate supply to meet customer needs.
Make shipment adjustments as needed.
Demonstrate excellent telephone and radio skills, Keep work area clean at all times, Accurately prepare and track documents, Notify manager of situations that could result in a disruption to deliveries and customer service, Correlate prepare distribute and process the various bills of lading reports and customer service, Understand and implement FEFO methodology.
Assure adherence to safety and operating policies along with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) using Company policies and procedures,
Working Conditions:
Materials shipping and receiving area in a plant environment.
Work may involve exposure to temperature extremes high noise levels wetness heights dust moving equipment vibrations and vapors.
Equipment Used:
Computer and associate software. Telephone walkie-talkie fax machine copier printer two-way radio. Personal protective equipment including but not limited to safety glasses steel-toed shoes and hearing protection.
