Experience in procurement of metals along with insight into manufacturing is a critical requirement for this role. SAP experience is also desired. Project Management experience is a plus.

Leads operational procurement activities associated with Supplier expansion project. Understands production planning requirements, evaluates/interprets SAP demand and Supply details then translates for internal and external communication to maintain continuity of supply.

Operational Procurement: Reviews SAP planning to determine and maintain requirements, converts requisitions into purchase orders, collaborates with Supplier to confirm orders and manages delivery schedule. Resolves gaps as needed to maintain continuity of supply. Follows material through Receipt, First Article Inspection until invoice/payment is cleared. Troubleshoots threats to supply to prevent production line stops, works cross-functionally to improve overall processes and business performance.

Source Expansion/Source Change: Works cross-functionally to ensure that operational requirements are met in new supplier awards as well as programs that may focus on source changes. Collaborates with a cross-functional team to quality new sources and ensure continuity of supply (preventing impact to production). Balances inventory management and cost management expectations with material needs of the production line to ensure harmonized flow of material.

General Overview - generic:
* Represents the interests of the Project Management on site to the customer, regulatory authorities and consultants.* Coordinates, communicates and maintains all dates and information from project site to ensure an accurate, on schedule and economical processing and optimized supply regarding customer needs.* Ensures information regarding disposition of goods during transport and permanently update of these information to create options for alternative actions by information of all involved parties in a timely manner.* Creates deficiency and status reports regarding material and product availability based on the needs of the customer supply concept in order to provide an assured data and information base.* Documents and processes complaints or transport damages with responsible partners (Project Logistics Manager, Project Purchase, Insurance) to secure any recourse claims and to take further measures.* Acts as the interface to involved external logistics providers on project site and coordinate their activities, ensuring cost efficient and seamless operations.* Initiates and coordinates the erection, operation and return of the logistic infrastructure and the equipment on the building site to guarantee a compliant, cost-efficient and smooth construction site logistics.* Supports the Project Logistics Manager with the development, calculation and implementation of logistics contingency measures during short-term variances from the planned supply concept to ensure an optimized supply related to the current conditions.* Supports the Project Logistic Manager with the concluding project evaluation and advancement of the project-specific process of customer supply to ensure high transparency over the whole supply process in the project and to gain input for the enhancement of future projects which are related to the customer supply.* Reports to the project logistics manager and leads own supply chain personal on project site. &Transfers&;Is expected to integrate processes and results from other workflows and disciplines to develop and accountably propose appropriate and effective solutions for significant parts of solutions. &Senior Professional&Positions which need senior professional expertise, with extensive functional, commercial and/or technical knowledge in an area of competence. They integrate analysis, development, testing and implementation. They interpret and functionally influence policy and guidelines in their area of business / technology, and develop processes and systems to deliver functional objectives. They typically plan own work according to targets agreed, within an quarterly up to an annual cycle, by integrating resources in a project driven environment. They provide functional advice and guidance to colleagues and customers. A chartered professional qualification or equivalent is typically associated with grades (though not necessary). 5-8 years Deep professional know-how and experience in one Sub Job Family. Transfers and applies know-how to / in various contexts. Solid professional judgment and problem solving competence. Improves existing processes and approaches.
