Cortech is seeking a Sleep Tech for our client.A sleep technician performs comprehensive sleep testing and analysis, and associated interventions under the general supervision of a sleep technologist and/or the medical director or designee. A sleep technician can provide supervision of a sleep trainee Required SkillsComply with applicable laws , regulations, guidelines, and standards regarding safety and infection control issues.Perform routine equipment care and maintenance, and inventory evaluation.Maintain current CPR or BLS certification.Demonstrate computer skills appropriate for the position.Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrate appropriate social skills.Demonstrate customer service skills.Demonstrate critical thinking and ability to work with minimal supervise on.Demonstrate teamwork skills.Follow HI PAA policies to maintain the privacy and security of patient information.Demonstrate ability to follow direction.Respond to sleep patients' procedural-related inqui1-ies by providing appropriate information.Assist with patient education utilizing sleep center specific protocols.Adhere to sleep center policies related to quality assu1-ance.EducationSuccessful completion of a sleep technology program, associated with a state licensed and/or a nationally accredited educational facility.ORA minimum of six months of experience as a sleep trainee with documented proficiency in all required competencies.ORHolds a Certified Polysomnographic Technician (CPSGT) credential or equivalent.Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, assist those with development disabilities, and additional physical requiremtnsThis is an overnight position of 3 nights, 12 hours shift, M-F Must have charting experience.
