<p>Role: <strong>Java with Kafka</strong></p> <p>Location: <strong>Westlake, TX (3 days Onsite)</strong></p> <p><strong>Must Have Skills: </strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li data-level="1" data-list="0" style="margin-left:0cm;tab-stops:list 36.0pt;"><span>Java Version 8 is being used for REST API's, experience with Kafka (or a similar event streaming platform), Developing Cloud Native Applications for AWS Platform. </span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Job description:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li data-level="1" data-list="0" style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt;"><span>Expertise in designing and building large-scale highly available, resilient, secure, scalable, cloud-native (AWS, Azure) digital enterprise applications on micro-services, serverless and event-driven architectures using domain driven design and 12-factor patterns</span></li> <li data-level="1" data-list="0" style="margin-left:0cm;tab-stops:list 36.0pt;"><span>Java Version 8 is being used for REST API's, experience with Kafka (or a similar event streaming platform), Developing Cloud Native Applications for AWS Platform. </span></li> <li data-level="1" data-list="0" style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt;"><span>Cloud-native REST API development using JAVA, Maven, Stash, Spring Boot and OpenAPI standards</span></li> <li data-level="1" data-list="0" style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt;"><span>Experience with code quality and analysis tools like Sonar/Veracode</span></li> <li data-level="1" data-list="0" style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt;"><span>Experience with cloud-based high-stream event messaging/Kafka (ex. market open) implementations and managing concurrency</span></li> <li data-level="1" data-list="0" style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt;"><span>Ownership of the entire secure SSDL, and extensive experience with DevOps CI/CD practices, TDD, BDD, automated security and quality testing, modern test and mock frameworks and service virtualization tools, like Wiremock/Parasoft, to rapidly deliver, measure, and iterate features to customers while minimizing risk using practices like A/B tests, blue-green deployments, and feature toggles</span></li> <li data-level="1" data-list="0" style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt;"><span>Demonstrated ability in influencing and partnering with architects, engineers, and product teams to deliver scalable robust application solutions</span></li> <li data-level="1" data-list="0" style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt;"><span>Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) certifications are a plus</span></li> </ul> <p> </p>
