Cortech is seeking a Software Engineer for our client in Nashville, TN.

This Software Engineer delivers on development commitments from start to finish for all aspects of the Analytics organization within HRG. This technically focused position is responsible for designing, developing, testing and deploying solutions across the HRG Analytics space. The engineer can quickly learn and maintain existing solutions as well as initiate new development projects. They will provide key problem resolutions for production systems as needed. The Software Engineer will develop an in-depth understanding of the solutions provided by HRG Analytics and can develop relationships throughout the enterprise to assist in accomplishing its goals for the company. The engineer strategically designs, constructs, and implements software in a software development environment. This includes selecting, gathering requirements for, designing, and implementing solutions for consumers throughout the enterprise. This engineer is a highly motivated self-starter and is committed to delivering high quality solutions within agreed upon timelines.


Responsibilities:
--Develop highly polished web applications using modern tools
--Deploy and consume AI models built by data scientists
--Build custom integrations and pipelines that feed data to analytics applications
--Develop solutions that are high quality, scalable, reliable, and reusable
--Work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum team to plan sprints, expand stories into technical tasks, work on removing impediments, and execute at top velocity
--Successful track record of delivering on projects, both individually and as a team member
--Organized and detail-oriented, able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently
--Strong desire to learn, push the envelope, and share knowledge with others.
--Clearly communicate status and open issues to team leads and managers
--Able to work effectively independently on assigned tasks, and within a collaborative team oriented environment using sound judgment in decision making
--Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, including good technical writing and interpersonal skills

Requirements:
--1+ years professional software development experience
--Ability to understand and analyze complex business problems
--Experience in designing, developing, and deploying web applications
--Solid understanding of one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Javascript, or Go)
--Experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases
--Ability to design and implement modern web APIs (e.g., REST or GraphQL)
--Solid understanding of cloud native technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
--Experience with modern frontend web frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue
--Familiarity with constructing and maintaining CI/CD workflows
--Solid Linux command line skills
--Experience using a distributed version control system (e.g., git, subversion, TFS)
