Cortech is seeking a Sourcing Analyst in Overland Park, KS.



Job Description:
Responsible for spend category management, strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, contracting, procurement and contact administration of spend for various and sometimes complex categories of spend. Manage and ensure compliance with Procurement Policy, and Procurement Methods and Procedures. Serve as the key liaison between vendor and internal stakeholders to proactively develop and manage sourcing plans, lead various sourcing projects, including RFI’s and RFP’s, and negotiate sourcing contracts for smaller sized categories and projects, as assigned, in the best interest of the organization.


Job Duties:
1. Responsible for category management of smaller-scale procurement initiatives that involve leading work activities such as development and distribution of RFX proposal packages, evaluation of RFX proposals, financial analysis (i.e., total cost of ownership (TCO), price negotiation, negotiation of contract terms & conditions, and management of contract compliance and dispute resolution.
2. Manage individual project prioritization.
3. Learn and apply supply chain and sourcing principles, theories, and concepts. Learn and apply project management and negotiation approaches on all sourcing projects.
4. Manage compliance with Fiscal Policy, Procurement Policy and Procurement Methods and Procedures. Educate and ensure compliance with these policies.
5. Build relationships and collaborate with functional business units to plan Procurement and Sourcing projects. Advocate for the competitive bidding of purchase requirements.
6. Negotiate, draft, red-line and interpret contract provisions.
7. Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contracted obligations; assist with clarifying contract requirements and resolving any conflicts.
8. Manage assigned categories of spend.
9. For key suppliers that may be assigned, help manage a key supplier performance management program, including score-carding and quarterly business reviews, to meet changing needs of the business, ensuring strategic alignment and optimal performance.
10. Work to resolve procurement issues and structure sourcing projects for assigned categories that cross a range of diverse operating companies, topics, and processes.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Zero (0) to two (2) years sourcing project leadership experience, including RFP management, negotiations, category management, contract drafting and redlining (including Statements of Work), and supplier performance management.
3. Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
4. Experience using MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel).
5. Demonstrated analytical skills.
6. Time management skills.
