Full Job Description Machine Design Engineer Machine Design Engineer______________________________________________________________ A custom fabrication company, is seeking a full-time Machine Design Engineer to join our team! Since 1916, has specialized in custom fabrication that demands creativity, precision, and quality craftsmanship. , Inc is a family owned business with loyal clientele across many industries in the St. Louis metro area.  offers a fast paced, rewarding environment, working with highly customized, high-end products and equipment, primarily for the food/beverage and pharmaceutical industries. Qualifications and Skills An ideal candidate has: At least 3-5 years of experience in a fabrication shop environment, specifically in custom product design, custom machine design, pneumatic and/or electro-mechanical equipment design. Skilled with the latest CAD software: Solidworks and/or Inventor Demonstrated experience designing/fabricating manufacturing equipment with emphasis in sanitary design principles for the food/beverage and pharmaceutical industry An ability to thrive in a fast pace, exciting, team-based work environment with an emphasis on creativity, quality, precision and a keen attention to detail Ability to interact with customers while conducting onsite tasks and information gathering, at the customer's facility and in a professional manner. Applicable experience includes: pneumatic systems, conveying systems, power transmission, motion control, sanitary piping and flow control Degree in engineering preferred but applicable experience will be considered Responsibilities and Duties Design using the latest 3D modeling software: Solidworks and/or Inventor Project management, including, but not limited to, onsite customer interaction and data collection, assistance in concept generation, quoting, fabrication, testing and factory acceptance tests.
