Qualifications:
Education • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline or equivalent work experience Work experience, Leadership experience • >5 years experience in positions including facility design, construction project management, brand representation, merchandising, and visual communications • >5 years of project management • >5 years of budgeting and contract management experience • PC Knowledge • Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel and PowerPoint Additional skills: special skills / technical ability etc. • Retail Facility & Construction/Building Material Knowledge preferred

Responsibilities:
Sr. Dealer Standards Specialist will be responsible for leading the network-wide change from Future Retail to Retail. Next corporate architecture. Unlike prior BMW corporate architecture programs, and counter to common industry practice, this position will lead not the implementation of a developed program, but the curation of the corporate architecture program utilizing only stylistic cues from BMW AG. This position will work with Munich, local corporate architects, and local materials providers to create a cohesive market execution that meets BMW AG expectations and satisfies the needs of the U.S. dealer network. • Manage current Future Retail Corporate Identity program and facility projects to ensure a strong BMW brand identity • Develop, launch, and implement BMW’s new retail facility standards (Retail. Next) • Launch supporting program materials and design elements to support sales and aftersales targets • Complete management and alignment of the CORA process and content, collaborating with all internal BMWNA stakeholder departments to ensure a thorough but streamlined document • Business owner for Dealer Standards compliance relative to Added Value Program (approx. $180 million exposure of dealer-earned bonus monies). • Support Regional Management and Field Teams as subject matter expert in all elements of corporate identity requirements, facility project management, design language development, and dealership grand openings and anniversaries. • Manage and direct Vendors for the current Future Retail Program and the curation and management for the rollout of BMW’s new corporate identity program and execution of facility project construction. Key point of contact for the management and execution of budgeting, contract management, and RFP process for corporate architects, facility project managers, and grand opening / dealer anniversary awards. Responsible for the management and oversight of $1.25M of budgeted resources for: Project Management Services, Dealer Anniversary and Grand Opening Awards , and Corporate Architecture Services Support US market (350 BMW Centers) to ensure dealers have the capacity to achieve projected sales targets and ensure BMW identity is achieved and BMW standards are adhered to. Services/ Enabling/ Provision of Services (e.g. Sales, Aftersales, Financial Service, HR, etc.) Develop, launch, and implement BMW’s new retail facility standards program (Retail.Next). Work with steering committees in both Munich and BMW NA to ensure all strategic initiatives are met and all design elements and materials meet BMW AG standards and requirements. Responsible for overseeing the creation, update and implementation of the BMW NA Retail Standards by way of Center Operating Requirements Addendum (CORA) and Corporate Identity program to ensure the entire U.S. dealer network (350 Centers) maintains a strong BMW brand identity, following the company-wide directives and initiatives. Key responsibilities include leading the facility design with Regional Center Development Managers, Corporate Architects and approved vendors. Manage the Center Operating Requirements Addendum (CORA) annual document review and revision with key BMW NA stakeholders, and the monthly reporting process, serving as the business owner for Dealer Standards relative to Added Value Program (AVP) compliance (approx. $180 million exposure of dealer-earned bonus monies). Maintain accurate documentation for Dealer Standards and CORA compliance. Management and tracking of facility projects from strategic conception through completion; ensuring all project milestones are adhered to and projects are completed on time. Develop contingency plans and milestone updates for forecasting delays to upper management. Collaborate with vendors to ensure dealer operational needs are met, current program needs are satisfied and future visions are achievable. Support Regional Field Teams, and act as subject matter expert in all elements of corporate identity requirements, facility project management, design language development, and dealership grand openings and anniversaries Collaborate and advise for BMW NA regarding MINI integration projects within BMW Centers. Manage and direct Vendors in the rollout of BMW’s new corporate identity program and execution of project construction. Lead and maintain the RFP process, budgeting, and contract management for new products and services (e.g. Project Management Office, Corporate Architects) Support Franchise Committee and Regional Teams with facility/market specific matters that influence decisions and approval of dealer issues.
