The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Group is responsible for the overall financial management of our company. This includes accounting, financial and regulatory reporting, balance sheet management, financial planning and analysis, treasury, investor relations, corporate investments and tax.   This position is on the Centralized Regulatory Reporting team and is part of the CFO-Global Financial Control organization and works closely with the Regulatory Reporting Conformance and Transaction Review Program Team (CTRP) within the Operational Risks and Control Oversight (ORCO) organization.   Role overview Provide independent assessments through various forms of regulatory reporting testing Identify and prioritize testing scope, and complete report impact assessments Identify and implement compensating controls for impacted reports Contributes to development of risk coverage plans, executes and /or oversees execution of independent risk monitoring, testing and risk assessments, communicates results Develop and maintain business partner relationships with ORCO senior leaders, creating effective real-time dialog on risks identified and testing observations. Analyzes data used for reporting, ability to translate results and explain results in a manner that resonates across many different audiences. Key responsibilities Execute moderate to complex assessments of risks, data and reporting process ranging in scale and scope Monitor regulatory environment to proactively identify changes (people, process or technology), assess impact of changes on the execution of testing and directing the needed adjustments to the plan.  Proactively identify opportunities related to critical Regulatory Reports to detect opportunities to revise or focus testing Understand variety of regulatory reporting, nuances of reporting and identify required controls. Applies business acumen to promote a culture of risk management and the identification, escalation, and timely execution of value-added testing over Regulatory Reports.   Qualifications and Experiences 5+ years with efforts specific to risk mitigation, controls, audit, or compliance Strong regulatory reporting background (preparation or data supplier) Understand nuances of reporting to identifying potential gaps and risks based on assessments of current state Experience identifying and implementing controls based on key requirements Experience with technology/applications as well as technical requirements BA/BS in Finance/Accounting or relatable working experience.
