Responsibilities
:

As a ServiceNow Administrator are responsible to administer and support multiple ServiceNow instances to meet the business needs of our users and developers. You will also be expected to maintain the stability and usability of the ServiceNow platform by performing application maintenance, managing support for incidents related to ServiceNow applications, and contributing to ServiceNow software releases by delivering configuration tasks and features.

  • Manages and resolves incidents against ServiceNow applications.
  • Performs routine maintenance to include performance monitoring and error identification/ remediation.
  • Schedules and verifies instance clones.
  • Participates in ServiceNow upgrades planning and execution.
  • Document administrative processes and issue resolution.
  • Manages Instance Security, User/Group Access/Access Control Lists.
  • Generates reports, dashboards, and scheduled reports for users.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Some experience or training administering IT Service Management (ITSM) applications; ServiceNow experience preferred.
  • Experience or training in application design, source code management, and JavaScript preferred
  • Basic understanding of ITIL 4 processes, operations, and procedures
  • Experience with processes involving problem identification, recovery, escalation, and resolution
  • Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in ServiceNow systems administration and support.
  • Experience or training with process development and deployment
  • REST and API experience preferred
  • LDAP and Active Directory integration experience preferred
  • Exposure to SQL
  • Application Experience: ITOM, ITSM, CMDB, Asset Management (HAM/SAM), Portal/UI, HR
  • BS degree in any of the following: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or Computer Systems Engineering or equivalent years of experience

Administrator Certifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator training/certification highly desired or completion of training to be provided immediately upon hire
  • ITIL Foundation v4 Certified or willing to complete one year from hire
