Sr. Systems Engineer – Control Systems Apply
<p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>After on-site training this position has the potential to work a hybrid schedule (a combination of days working from home and days in the office at a company facility/site depending on project needs).</p> <p><strong>Primary Duties & Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Develop platform stabilization algorithms.</li> <li>Integrate and validate algorithms on hardware.</li> <li>Lead multi-disciplinary design efforts and reviews.</li> <li>Perform data processing, optimization and model-based design using MATLAB and Python toolchains.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Job Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>B.S. in relevant engineering discipline (such as Aeronautical, Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical) required.</li> <li>M.S. or PhD in relevant engineering discipline (such as Aeronautical, Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical) preferred.</li> <li>5+ years of experience designing high performance control systems required; platform stabilization control systems preferred.</li> <li>Solid experience in selecting of inertial sensors including gyroscopes, accelerometers and IMUs required.</li> <li>Solid experience with classical dynamics required.</li> <li>Solid experience with linear control systems design and optimization required.</li> <li>Solid experience with servo-elastic interactions and mitigation required.</li> <li>Solid Experience in selecting/custom design of direct current motors required.</li> <li>Solid Experience with digital signal processing required.</li> <li>Experience with embedded programming language, C++ development preferred</li> <li>Able and willing to travel once every 1-2 months domestically to other Client sites.</li> </ul>
