JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Sr. Analyst, Actuary is responsible for leading the actuarial analysis of existing and new government integrated kidney care programs such as C-SNPs and CMMI programs. Specifically, this teammate will model medical claims, CMS revenue, and membership data received from external partners. Duties also include applying predictive models, researching health care industry trends, developing executive-level presentations, and communicating to other business units such as finance and operations. Essential responsibilities include:Complete program financial and membership reconciliations and monitor developing program experience.Develop forecasts of program experience (both claims cost and CMS revenue), work in IBNP models, and monitor historical experienceAnalyze drivers of program performance and communicate results to leadership team and internal stakeholders.Apply actuarial underwriting principles to value-based contracting efforts, including baseline and trend calculations.Create internal performance benchmarks and assist in actuarial process and capability development. Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in relevant fieldAt least 2 years of relevant actuarial or claims forecasting experienceExtensive actuarial modeling experience in Microsoft ExcelStrong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and other applicationsStrong attention to detailExcellent oral and written communication skillsProven complex problem-solving and critical thinking skills Preferred Qualifications:Proficiency in SQL and TableauSuccessful completion of at least 2 SOA examinationsExperience working with Medicare Advantage*Salary range for qualified candidates $75,200- $110,400What We’ll Provide:More than just pay, our DaVita Rewards package connects teammates to what matters most.
