Enterprise Role Overview: Provide analytical support in executing internal control discipline and operational excellence within a LOB/ECF. Gather and organize data in order to monitor and test the effectiveness of key controls and status of mitigation and action plans. Prepare documentation for the tracking, monitoring, and escalation of risk related issues to management. Acts as an ambassador of the risk culture. Incumbents typically have over 5+ years of risk management and/or LOB/ECF experience. May manage staff.   LOB Specific Job Description: Client Operational Services and Branch Operations provides operational support globally with the overall aim to provide simplified client interactions and to deepen client relationships across Global Banking and Markets clients. The team is focused on developing solutions for our clients to maintain and grow market share. Functions range from onboarding and offboarding our clients; enabling entity, client and product data; servicing our clients; and protecting our clients. Branch Operations in LATAM, Canada and EMEA provide front-to-back support for our business and clients across many regional offices. The Quality Assurance team within COS provides a variety of methods to monitor and evaluate controls within a process, assessing the design and effectiveness of those controls to validate processes are operating as intended. This role will be accountable for the COS portfolio of quality assurance testing executed by Enterprise Independent Testing (EIT), including the reporting and analysis of results. Working in a global team, the successful candidate will need to be a highly effective partner with the COS Process Owners and provide governance and oversight for their quality results. This role will also provide leadership of other activities impacting quality, which include but are not limited to strategy, transformation, enhancements and initiatives, thematic trends and root cause analysis, etc.   Responsibilities: Maintaining the portfolio of QA procedures and test scripts, ensuring they are current and fit for purpose Reviewing and approving testing results to ensure accuracy Developing and presenting regular program updates to Stakeholders Facilitating discussions between the testing team and the Process Owners as needed Apply analytical and critical thinking skills to make independent assessments, articulate recommendations and defend conclusions Assist in planning and preparation for audits and exams; prepare and gather documents to respond to GCOR, Audit or regulatory inquiries Build strong relationships and collaborate with the Process Owner and other risk partners Improving and simplifying QA processes   Requirements: Experience in design, execution and monitoring of quality assurance or other testing activities Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of quality assurance best practices Ability to think critically and analyze problems to identify both tactical and strategic solutions to address and manage risk Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines Excellent communication and influencing skills across multiple levels / diverse audiences, proven ability to influence without formal authority Excels in collaborating and working among diverse viewpoints to determine the best path forward Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word and PowerPoint Desired Skills Risk/Audit/Compliance experience In-depth knowledge of Global Markets Operations processes and systems Reporting design and best practices   Other Qualifications: Strives to bring new thoughts and ideas to teams in order to drive innovation and unique solutions Excels in working among diverse viewpoints to determine the best path forward Experience in connecting with a diverse set of clients to understand future business needs – is a continuous learner Commitment to challenging the status quo and promoting positive change.
