Sr Maintenance Mechanic
Relevante, Inc has partnered with a Biopharma company in the Long Island City, NY area to provide with a Senior Maintenance Technician. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.
The Sr. Maintenance Technician performs routine preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance work orders, troubleshooting of production and non-production equipment breakdowns and assists with installation of new equipment or systems as directed by the shift Team Leader.
Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Senior Maintenance Technician:
#1. Must be able to troubleshooting of process Equipment and systems
#2. Must be able to troubleshoot mechanical systems such as air conditioning, compressed air systems, Glycol systems and condenser water systems and take corrective measures
#3. Must be able to troubleshoot refrigeration systems, controls, and control circuitry
#4. No more than 3 jobs in the past 10 years
Responsibilities of the Senior Maintenance Technician:
Requirements of the Senior Maintenance Technician:
- Minimum High School Diploma with training in HVAC, refrigeration, electrical or plumbing.
- Associates degree or higher in science/technology preferred.
- Ability to give verbal and written instructions and complete work assignments in an expeditious, clear, and professional manner.
- Minimum of four years' experience in the repair and maintenance in, a manufacturing facility preferably in a pharmaceutical or biological facility
- Knowledge of PLC and automated systems.
- Knowledge and experience in the repair and maintenance of mechanical and electrical support equipment.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings, schematics, and flow diagrams.
- Computer literacy including knowledge of Microsoft Office and e-mail required.
- Knowledge of computerized building monitoring systems, preferably Siemens-Landis or Johnson Controls.
Other Key Requirements:
- 100% onsite, in-office role.
- No sponsorships or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
