Work Schedule:




Monday through Friday HYBRID WITH 2 DAYS MIN ON SITE. MUST BE A LOCAL .
For assignments based at White Plains Headquarters, the workday consist of 7.5-hour paid workday plus a required 0.5-hour unpaid lunch.
Paid for time worked only; there are no paid holidays, vacation or sick days.
Overtime is not permitted unless authorized in advanced.
Contingent Worker is required to badge in and out of the turnstiles located in the lobby for all daily entrances and exits.




HR Engagement Requirements:




Candidate REQUIRED to be local to Tri-State area and in W2 status as employee of Service Providers. Hybrid - 2 days minimum on site.
Candidate that are foreign nationals or hold visas must be disclosed at the time of submission.
Be mindful that selected candidates must abide by NYPA's Code of Conduct and identify possible potential conflict of interest in a required disclosure form upon onboarding.




Project Overview:



Project Hub is NYPA's enterprise wide portfolio and project management approach, inclusive of systems and processes. The Manager, Project Hub Training is responsible for developing and leading the enterprise-wide Project and Program Management training program at NYPA. This includes collaborating with NYPA stakeholders to identify, implement and sustain training programs that support employee knowledge and capability development in project, portfolio, and program management. The Manager works closely with Organizational and Enterprise project management offices (PMOs) and Technical Training teams to ensure training services are in alignment to organizational strategy and objectives.



Job Functions & Responsibilities:




Define the training program and related processes, procedures, reporting, etc. to manage the program and align resources. System training includes but it not limited to UMT360, Procore and MS Project Online.
Manage a wide range of complex stakeholder relationships and have confidence in challenging and building trust with senior sponsors.
As needed, manage the design, develop, and delivery of classroom, hands-on, and virtual training
Coordinate with 3rd party vendors to evaluate and implement external programs.
Create competency models for various technical disciplines.
Conduct and interpret technical gap analysis across a variety of disciplines.
Formulate development and learning plans to address gaps defined in gap analysis
Plan future NYPA Project Management training needs in conjunction with various NYPA leaders
Collaborate with Talent Development to ensure technical training and leadership/soft skills training are aligned and complementary.




Skills:




Strong experience as project manager of large and complex projects.



Experienced with leveraging a variety of learning models to support learners at various levels in the organization.



Ability to lead and influence teams or cross-functional groups
Broad knowledge of project and program management methodologies.
Able to work with all levels of management internal and external.




Education & Certifications:




7+ years' experience in Project Management, Program Management, Training, or similar
PMP certified
