Long Term

Position Overview

The Stibo Architect is a Senior Technical Specialist responsible for design, architecture, and technical delivery of high-quality Stibo solution implementations for clients.
This position requires customer facing experience, management skills, and a strong technical background.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project team members through all activities required to successfully deliver MDM/PIM solutions using best practices
  • Lead requirements gathering, solution design, development/configuration, testing, jobs, and debugging
  • Develops blueprints, evaluates technology options/tools, and identifies solution gaps
  • Guide definition and roll out of data governance strategies, policies, roles, responsibilities, processes, controls, and rules
  • Draft design documents and technical specs for the overall business solution
  • Define technical specifications for workflows and business rules
  • Configure, build, and unit test solution components, including data structures, roles, workflows, imports/exports and user interfaces/portals
  • Build and unit test data migration and integration components
  • Support integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing
  • Lead solution design, development/configuration, testing, jobs and debugging
  • Perform product data modeling and instantiation
  • Trains client personnel for solution adoption and transfer of ownership
  • Consult with clients on best practices for data migration, integration, and deployment
  • Owns overall solution delivery across tracks planning, requirements and design, implementation, training and business adoption, change management, etc.
    by engaging stakeholders, training, and building consensus

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines
  • Demonstrated delivery of multiple complex projects
  • Ability to synthesize complex information from multiple sources to influence decisions
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact at all levels including management level communication
  • Can manage and improve information processes/tools to support operational decisions
  • Self-managing and ability to lead project solution end-to-end
  • Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks
  • Ability to lead other technical team members and knowledge-share

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in CS, MIS, or related field
  • 4+ years of relevant professional work experience
  • At least two full lifecycle implementations of the Stibo STEP solution for Product MDM or PIM; additional MDM/PIM implementation experience a plus
  • Stibo STEP experience as a hands-on technical developer and configurator
  • Leadership experience in designing and implementing MDM/PIM solutions
  • Expert technical skills in software development is preferred: Java and/or JavaScript, data and database design, SQL, XML, Linux, and Web services
