Full time Permanent Opportunity with comprehensive Full Benefit and PTO

Position Summary:  Bio Clean Environmental is seeking a structural engineer with 5+ years of
experience and PE stamp to join our team! Since 1999 Bio Clean has been synonymous with
innovative stormwater treatment solutions. We are a rapidly growing business looking for a hard-
working, creative-minded engineer with a passion for cleaning the environment and making the
world a better place. The Structural Engineer performs engineering assignments that involve
product design, structural calculations, review of specifications, referencing construction codes,
and research into project-specific criteria and local regulations. This position partners with
drafters, engineers, and project managers to contribute to project completion for projects across
the nation. This position complies with all aspects of the company’s safety program and
requirements.
Essential Functions:
 Analyze structural loadings on precast concrete treatment devices. Develop concrete mix
recommendations, structural rebar designs, and specific instructions for production.
 Understanding of HS-20, LRFD, AASHTO, ACI and other construction codes.
 Prepare Finite Element Analysis models.
 Prepare design calculations.
 Communicate clearly and effectively with project managers, sales associates, contractors,
reviewing engineers, and other industry professionals.
 Participate in on-the-job training, site visits, sales presentations, and company events.
 Participate in product innovations, testing, and company-wide training.
 Requirements:
 BS Degree from accredited university in Structural Engineering required
 PE certification required
 5+ years’ relevant experience with precast concrete production, admixtures, and rebar
design
 Proficient in AutoCAD
 Proficient in Finite Element Analysis
 Proficient Microsoft Office skills including advanced Microsoft Excel skills
 Planning skills, including how to meet required deadlines
 Individual must be able to communicate clearly and professionally, and be able to
collaborate with all levels of employees from production workers to management leaders

 Strong written, verbal, and video streaming communications skills and ability to present
oneself and communicate in a professional, positive, and courteous manner
 Ability to apply effective time management and self-management skills
 Ability to manage several projects at once as they progress from concept to completion
 Ability to travel to site locations, meetings, and presentations (required travel is
infrequent)
 A passion for making a positive difference in the environment through engineering
