Our client is a respected leader in the Imaging and Office Equipment industry. Located in Melville, N.Y., the Supplier Management Administrator (Procurement Specialist) will manage the number of new suppliers, and submit supplier requests using Oracle. At Client, we develop new talent and reward strong performers with increased levels of responsibility. This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Monday and Wednesday and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs. Responsibilities: • Ensure accuracy of the supplier database, which includes compliance with IRS tax regulations, electronic payments, MWBE status, payment terms, and contact information. • Oversees elimination of duplicates from the supplier audit report and conducts mailings to verify supplier data. • Maintains repository of contracts as well as records and files. • Leads supplier onboarding (verification of all documents for completeness, communicating with requesting business groups regarding requirements/additional information, etc.). • Manages Supplier type/segmentation, Supplier master database cleanup/maintenance, monthly deactivations, Dun & Bradstreet reports. • Facilitates Supplier inquiries from the Procurement Help Desk. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, plus 2 to 3 years of related experience. • Knowledge of Oracle a plus. • Proficiency in MS Office applications. • Bilingual in Spanish and/or Portuguese a plus
