I am in need of a R&D Technician who can work in a lab environment. Someone that experience working with tools such as meters and scopes would be ideal. A candidate who has very good attention to detail and can maintain the test environment is needed.
We are looking for a Research and Development Technician to join our Emergency Care team to support both product development and sustaining.
You are responsible for:
• Performing verification tests at internal and external test labs
• Identifying and documenting technical issues during testing
• Providing clear and concise feedback on test procedures to engineers
• Cleaning and organizing R&D Lab environment
• Building tools
• Supporting process improvements and lean product development efforts
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
• Minimum 2 yr Electronic Technician degree/certification or equivalent is required
• Knowledge of microelectronic circuits and components required
• Knowledge of bench top test instrumentation control and use
• Knowledge of common business software required (i.e. Microsoft Office suite)
• Excellent attention to detail required
• Good verbal and written communication skills required
• Good organizational skills required
• Must be self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience desired in a regulated industry like medical or aerospace
