Surgical Tech
Pay Rate: $34.29/HR
Day Shift (4x10)- 7am-5pm



Overview:
Performs direct patient care activities for all age groups to include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort. Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with the established guidelines of nursing practice, Mercy Code of Conduct, Mercy Mission and Values and Mercy Service Standards.



Qualifications Education:
Minimum High School diploma or equivalent. Graduate of Surgical Technology Program, LPN program, or comparable job education Licensure: Current LPN license in state of Arkansas if LPN graduate (vs. CST) Certifications: Current BLS Certification. Other: Basic computer knowledge.
Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Preferred Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in the Operating Room preferred Preferred Certifications: Surgical Technology certification highly preferred Preferred Other: Additional languages desirable."
