Lead SDET  Cincinnati, OH 12 months+ Contract – All Visa Interview: WebEx Job Description: The QA Lead is responsible for establishing QA process and best practices within assigned Teams, own and be accountable for preparing E2E test strategy, automation strategy, and testing scope. QA Lead will help identify gaps in QA toolsets, process, best practices, and talents on assigned teams. QA Lead will help us in researching emerging test tools, trends and methodologies and enhance existing systems and processes. QA Lead will enforce the importance of in-sprint automation, advocates for shift-left approach and CI/CD integrations. QA Lead should create awareness on performance testing and involve performance testing as needed. QA Lead will prepare defined quality metrics, perform needed follow-ups based on metrics and produce needed status reports. QA Lead will work closely with development teams to drive root cause analysis and feed that knowledge into automated quality processes effectively. QA Lead would also be engaged in leading testing efforts involving coaching, mentoring, test scope and coverage reviews, automation test script reviews and contributing to improvements to frameworks, tools, processes, and best practices.  Requirements 8+ years of overall experience in Quality Assurance and software testing 4+ years of QA Leadership experience 3+ years of developing and executing automated test scripts (preferably Selenium tests in Javascript (or) Java) 3+ years of experience working with automated test frameworks (preferably WebDriver I/O) and test runners (preferably Mocha) 3+ years of experience with continuous integration tools (preferably GitLab) 3+ years of experience with test case management and test case management tools 2+ years of experience utilizing risk-based testing techniques 2+ years of experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment. Experience working in environments utilizing the OKR work process is a bonus 2+ year of experience with defect management and using defect management tools (preferably JIRA) 2+ years of experience mentoring and coaching team members (remote and onsite) 2+ years of experience managing test environments and test data 1+ year of experience using SQL or other query methods to validate data changes in the database 1+ year of experience testing APIs (or) services (preferably REST (or) RESTful) Experience with modern libraries and tooling (preferably Java (or) Javascript based) Familiarity with NoSQL Databases Experience with creating test data and utilizing test data management tools Business-minded approach to time, costs, and deadlines Strong communication and collaboration skills, to challenge the norm Strong analytical problem-solving skills Sid TalentMovers, Inc.
