Job Description
Involved in all aspects of Information Technology including support of all current and future information systems.
Responsibilities
• Plans and coordinates the configuration and operations of all servers, workstations, laptops, and networks for individual departments and branch offices of division.
• Build and configure workstations and server against a provided baseline.
• Application/help-desk support for a wide variety of software packages and business system such as ERP, CRM, DMS and PDM systems. Log issues in our tracking system and coordinate problem resolution with other working groups, and ensure that appropriate communication, hand-off and follow-through occur.
• Maintain network components supporting data, voice and/or audio communication activities.
• Server backup and maintenance & Disaster Recovery Planning
• Compliance with Corporate IT Standards for managing logical access controls and change management.
• Partner with Corporate information security team, keeping division resources secure, maintaining compliance to CMMC Level 3
• Monitor emerging technology developments and identify innovations with ROI
• Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service and timely resolution.
• Ensuring that all users have the right equipment, access and software to perform the essential functions of their role.
• Position is expected to travel between operations in New Bedford and Westerly, RI. 40% of time spent in Westerly RI and 60% in New Bedford.
Required Education and Experience
• BS or equivalent experience in Information Technology or related discipline
• 5 or more years of increased experience and responsibility in an IT setting
• MCSE, and ComTIA certifications preferred.
• Experience using virtual computing technologies, including working knowledge of MS products\ VMWare \ VEEAM
Required Skills
• Working knowledge of ERP software in manufacturing environment
• Maintain and grow technical competence in the Office 365 platform
