JOB DESCRIPTION:

This individual is responsible for proactively identifying technology opportunities that impact corporate business strategies and performance. Systems Analyst professionals educate project team members on business unit goals and objectives and educate the business on the value of information technology. Through excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to translate between technical and business language, they work collaboratively, negotiating requirements across multiple groups. They must have an understanding of the overall IT architecture of the organization. The Systems Analyst is specifically responsible for; the collection, analysis, design and documentation of business and functional requirements, providing process improvement recommendations, participating in short- and long-term development planning sessions with clients to improve business processes, assessing client needs utilizing a structured process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes) to translate business requirements and recommend options, risks and cost vs. benefits, developing reviews and communicates business and functional requirements for the design and implementation of business solutions, facilitating work sessions with business partners and appropriate IT groups, presenting functional requirements documentation for sign-off, participating in technical design, testing and architecture work sessions, developing test cases or test approach. QUALIFICATIONS: 2 or more years of relevant technical and business work experience required. Bachelors degree in Business Management, Computer Science/MIS or the equivalent of education and work experience. Must possess well-developed analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, as well as outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm
Work Week: 1 - Monday, 2 - Tuesday, 3 - Wednesday, 4 - Thursday, 5 - Friday
