Must have experience writing protocols and reports.The typical candidates that work are scientists and researchers who may have:- Worked with flow during their BS or MS- Worked with flow in a diagnostic/clinical facility- Worked at a flow core lab facility at a university or research institute- Worked with flow as a research associate or assistant in research labsKeywords around flow and flow diagnostics:- FACS- Flow cytometry- medical technologist (med tech)- Reference laboratory- ASCP (certification)- CLIA lab- Hospital laboratory- Reference technologist- CLS (clinical laboratory scientist)- MLT (medical laboratory technician)- Special hematologyPlay a critical role on cross-functional product development teams by representing the customer experience. Test the designs of systems by running representative assay and samples. Document system defects, analyze test data, and identify potential system problems. Assist with usability testing to ensure our products are easy to use and meet user needs. This role will be working on flow cytometer sample preppers.Primary duties include:• Assist with protocol development, conduct and record testing, and assist with data analysis, writing reports, and reviews on product designs• Be the voice of the customer by elevating user needs and identifying product quality issues• Exercise independent judgment and apply solution thinking, problem solving, and troubleshooting• Conduct representative sample prep and flow cytometry experiments to test products• Escalate instrument problems using data-driven summariesMinimum Qualifications:• B.S. in Immunology, Cell Biology, or related discipline• Minimum of 2 years' experience in flow cytometry in academic research, pharma industry, contract research organizations, hospital or reference laboratory, or other relevant industry• Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting flow cytometers• Experience with sample prep for multi-parameter flow cytometry applications• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with others in a multi-disciplinary team• Should be self-directed with effective time management skills• Excellent listening, written, and oral communication skills• Experience with Microsoft Office applications and Windows OSDesired Qualifications:• MS degree in Immunology, Cell Biology or in a related discipline• Experience in a flow core lab facility or diagnostic reference laboratory
