Assembly Operators - Refugees Welcome

Novi, MI area

We are searching for Bilingual Assembly Operators who are searching for a great company to start their career here in the US with.
You will work directly with the customers assembly operator team in a high preformance percision manufacturing facility.
We welcome all candidates including refugee status applicants to apply for this position regardless of skillset.

Afternoon Shift: Wednesday through Saturday, 5:00 p.
m.
to 3:00 a.
m.
$18/hour plus OT at 1.
5 and double time on Sundays

Highlights Include:

  • Working in a "clean room", climate controlled environment (70 degrees all year)
  • A highly advanced assembly system
  • Opportunity to work overtime (including double-time opportunities)
  • Bonuses include: attendance, production, and employee referral bonuses
  • Advancement opportunities

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Produce quality assemblies and performance necessary quality checks
  • Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
  • Update all measurable information relating to efficiency, as required
  • Perform basic troubleshooting
  • Support team members' work when necessary

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 6 months previous assembly, automotive repair OR related experience.
    We will train!
  • Ability to read instructions and perform complicated assembly tasks
  • Mechanically inclined; experience maintaining a vehicle is helpful
  • Ability to occasionally lift 35 pounds
  • Ability to work overtime hours
  • Reliable transportation

  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with people at all levels
  • A positive, solutions-focused mentality
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to solve problems in team settings
  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic technical reading skills
