Description

Client is seeking a Technical Project Manager/Solution Architect to join the team in supporting a Federal Agency in the Washington D.
C.
metropolitan area.
As a key member of our team, the Technical Lead / Project Manager will interface with the customers and lead/manage a range of activities including requirements collection and analysis, technical architecture design, software design, implementation, debugging, as well as enhancing existing systems.
Prior experience leading large, enterprise-level software development efforts is a critical requisite for this position.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Interface directly with customer and act as a solution provider for a variety of business problems.
  • Lead a scrum team of 5-10 to architect and design software applications utilizing best technology practices to design and implement a scalable, secure, end-to-end software product.
  • Consult with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.
  • Perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.
  • Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools.
  • Experience programming with serverless compute technologies and AWS cloud computing, e.
    g.
    , AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, Cloud Formation, S3, SNS, SQS.
  • Must be proficient in coding languages and technologies, e.
    g.
    , NodeJS, TypeScript and Angular.
  • Resolve problems with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
  • Effective verbal and written communication with senior-level management and leadership on the customer side.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
    • 8 years' experience in a similar role or functions including software development on complex applications to large scale production environments.
    • Previous federal government project experiences a huge plus.
    • Experience using Agile/Scrum methodology, with a high-level understanding of concepts of user story, backlog, velocity, devops and cloud.
    • Strong technical leadership and software project management experience.
    • Extensive experience in cloud environments including AWS tools, applications development, and migration.
    • Ability to manage multiple concurrent software development projects simultaneously.
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills to maintain an effective working relationship with development teams and customers.

    • In order to meet the clearance requirements for this opportunity, candidates must be US Citizen and/or Current Green Card Holder.
