Description
Client is seeking a Technical Project Manager/Solution Architect to join the team in supporting a Federal Agency in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. As a key member of our team, the Technical Lead / Project Manager will interface with the customers and lead/manage a range of activities including requirements collection and analysis, technical architecture design, software design, implementation, debugging, as well as enhancing existing systems. Prior experience leading large, enterprise-level software development efforts is a critical requisite for this position.
Primary Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 8 years' experience in a similar role or functions including software development on complex applications to large scale production environments.
- Previous federal government project experiences a huge plus.
- Experience using Agile/Scrum methodology, with a high-level understanding of concepts of user story, backlog, velocity, devops and cloud.
- Strong technical leadership and software project management experience.
- Extensive experience in cloud environments including AWS tools, applications development, and migration.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent software development projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills to maintain an effective working relationship with development teams and customers.
