Hours per Week 40

Your Role:
• Collaborate with larger corporate sales force by assisting, training, and motivating them in generating leads and partnering with them to close deals
• Proactively contact customers/accounts, pre-qualify/nurture inbound digital leads
• Work with Application Scientists to optimally demonstrate value of software to the customers
• Develop a deep understanding of the relevant customer segment the solution is sold into, and generate a robust pipeline of short- and long-term sales opportunities
• Manage data for new and prospective clients in CRM, dashboard reports, and any other reports as requested by management
• Apply all internal resources and systems to provide quotations and/or negotiate long term pricing for continued and incremental growth of the territory
• Develop content for marketing, supervise website analytics and use this information to guide future web content to improve user engagement

Physical Attributes
• Travel domestically and/or internationally up to 20¬-30%

Who you are

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry, Computational Chemistry/Biology/Physics, Cheminformatics, Biology, Bioinformatics, Engineering, or related discipline
• 1+ years of experience in selling software or physical products for small molecule R&D
Preferred Qualifications:
• 3+ years of software or SaaS sales experience to pharmaceutical and biotech customers in US, and/or Europe
• Advanced degree in Chemistry, Computational Chemistry, Cheminformatics etc.
• Experience managing a sales pipeline in Salesforce
• Experience with working in an international matrixed organization
• Strong verbal and written communication
