Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, possible overtime

Job Description

Designs and develops service training programs using standardized tools and processes. Delivers familiarization, orientation, and overview training for their area of responsibility. Evaluates training needs and effectiveness for the programs they develop and deliver. Mentors training developers and instructors in training development and delivery. Leads content development and delivery improvement projects. Provides high-quality technical training delivery on complex products and systems. Provides technical support as required.

Responsibilities

* Designs, develops and delivers self-study and hands on service training programs using standardized tools and processes including needs assessment, job task analysis, competency gap analysis, and assessment tools.
* Works with subject matter experts from engineering, service, distribution, and marketing for product definition and reviews contents to ensure accuracy and applicability of training programs.
* Supports new product introduction teams with training related program requirements, resource plans, schedules, and program status.
* Delivers Qualify the Qualifier (QtQ) classroom training to qualify regional and distributor trainers.
* Solicits feedback and incorporates improvements suggested by the Service Training community.
* Evaluates training effectiveness of regional and distributor trainers on content delivery of training programs
* Reviews training developed by other developers to ensure that product training meets the highest standards
* Maintains classroom and equipment to facilitate training delivery.
* Develop product expertise by completing product qualifications.
* Responsible for the development of training aids, training hardware, Qualify the Qualifier (QtQ) plans, and materials necessary for successful replication of training at local training centers.
* Leads, communicates, and facilitates the training needs of global trainers for the products they are responsible for.
* Designs, develops, and delivers advanced skill and knowledge training sessions on complex systems and customized product ranges.
* Works with external resources for tools development, translations, project development and project management.
* Serves as a mentor to new department team members; part of training program review teams to ensure quality and effectiveness of training.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelors degree required
5 years of related experience
Experience in Service, but someone with experience developing training programs and curriculum and providing Training or teaching would be ideal.
