CorTech is a service-oriented staffing/recruiting company dedicated to working closely with our clients. We are currently hiring for a Temporary Community Manager in Monticello, NY.

$20/hour
8am to 5pm
Monday to Friday, flexibility if needed

IMMEDIATE START*

The Community Manager will ensure work orders are completed on time, apartment turnover is effectively and efficiently handled for new residents, and leasing is meeting expected occupancy goals, while managing employee training and performance management matters throughout the day. These responsibilities provide the apartment communities with operations that are safe and secure for the on-site residents, visitors, contractors and fellow employees. You will report directly to the District Manager and work collaboratively with the community team as well as key partners in Compliance, Property Management, Property Finance, Human Resources and outside housing authority representatives to ensure all required aspects of operating a stable, fiscal operation are covered and meeting all requirements.

Community Manager Requirements:
-Minimum 2+ years’ prior experience in affordable housing compliance management (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit experience and Section 8 required, some HOME helpful).
- Yardi Voyager experience or knowledge of industry compliance software program(s) preferred.
- Some college or a degree with the COS certification or other housing certification(s) preferred or willing to obtain; minimum HS/GED required.
- 1+ years prior team supervision experience including training, coaching and performance management.
- Good financial/bookkeeping background with understanding of operations, accounts receivables & payables; prior budgeting experience preferred.
- Strong MSOffice skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for effective written communications.
