Position: Tool Crib Attendant
Location: Warren, MI 48093
Duration: 6 Months
Job Type: Contract

Job Description:
  • Receives, unpacks, checks, and stores merchandise or materials.
    Fills requisitions and orders.
  • Track the supply and use of equipment in the tool crib.
    When maintenance techs need tools to complete their tasks, the tool crib attendant gives out the tools and parts while tracking them to make sure they are returned at the end of the day.
  • In this role, your job duties include keeping an accurate inventory of the tools and storing them properly.
  • Responsible to inspect the tools and parts to make sure they are in good condition and report those that are worn, damaged, lost, or unsafe to use and for ordering replacement tools to replenish the supply in the tool crib or repair tools that are only slightly damaged.
Required Skills
  • Experience in data entry and data analysis of various metrics such as OEE, waste, attainment, attendance, etc.
  • Pull orders, inventory, stock, receive, data entry, make adjustments, create and fix orders when needed.
  • Check in/out of required tools for specific jobs, data entry, reordering and restocking of necessary supplies.
  • Issued tools and supplies to employees and input data entry to ensure inventory was up to date.
  • Perform all required data entry for Shipping/Receiving functions (including UPS, FEDEX).
  • Prepare periodic inventory or keeps perpetual inventory and requisitions stock as needed.
  • Received, unpacked, and stored incoming tools and equipment, and requisitions stock to replenish inventory.
  • Identified user's tools, parts, equipment, and requirements and requisitions stock as needed.
  • Receive, unpack, and store incoming tools and equipment, and requisitions stock to replenish to inventory.

Required Education
  • High school diploma required.
Required Years of Experience
  • 2-5 years

  • Associate Degree in General Education, Education, Technical, Associates, Management, Graduate, Professional Development, Business, Engineering, Business/Administration
