Pay rate - $20.74/hr

Role Summary/Purpose
The Tooling Specialist - will be responsible for the inventory, inspection, restocking, and maintenance of tool kits. Ensure that tooling is Safe, of good Quality, and meets company and government requirements.

Essential Responsibilities
As the Tooling Specialist you will:
Follow direction from tool center manager, cell leader and lead technician
Adhere to site safety and quality expectations
Should have strong mechanical and technical skills
Perform a variety of inspections on tools, rigging, safety equipment and materials per work instructions and first-person instruction
Perform functional and mechanical inspections of tool
Ensure that all tooling, material, and containers are clean and safe
Maintain all tools and material to ensure they meet safety and quality requirements
Keep and maintain accurate inventory records related to count, scrap, and non-conforming tooling and materials
Skilled at working as part of a team to complete projects
Good computer skills, ability to use ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
Safely utilize material handling equipment & techniques
Ensure all work is performed with an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) mindset
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Ability and willingness to work overtime, including weekends and different hours than scheduled, as needed
Ability and willingness to lift 50 pounds, as required
Ability and willingness stand for long period of time
Ability to work in a warehouse or industrial environment
Ability and willingness to work in various positions, conditions and environments
Ability and willingness to undergo drug screening


Desired Characteristics Good interpersonal, team and leadership skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Inventory process knowledge and experience
Knowledge of hoist, electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic equipment
Previous experience working with tooling, equipment, or machinery
Turbine maintenance, generator maintenance or tooling experience
