The Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities (FICC) & Derivative Core Operations (Client) team perform end to end trade control, confirmation and settlements processes across FICC businesses and provides utility OTC derivative confirmation and settlement services for non FICC businesses.

Within client, the teams provide multiple services such as FICC trade control, Foreign Exchange (FX) electronic matching and settlement, Over the Counter (OTC) derivative confirmation and settlement, and commodities operations.

 

Job Description:

We are currently in search of a Commodities Trade Control Analyst to join our team in Charlotte, While on the team, you'll assist with the day-to-day trade support operations for the Commodities Trading and Sales activities that span across APAC, EMEA, and AMRS. Trade Control team members are responsible for ensuring the data quality in the system or record which includes trade capture, trade amendments, and trade lifecycle processing. On a daily basis, you will be working with the Business, Support, and Technology partners to ensure control breaks are highlighted and resolved in a timely manner. Candidates are encourage to bring new thoughts and ideas to the team in order to manage risk and drive innovation with unique solutions.

 

Responsibilities
- Daily derivative transaction reconciliation and highlighted breaks are reviewed for explanation and resolution to the appropriate stakeholders. 
- Manage day-to-day trade lifecycle support operations
- Work with the business and support partners to resolve escalated issues to ensure regulatory and financial reporting obligations are met
- Liaising with other support partners to ensure timely resolution of control breaks and Client fails 
- Involvement in ad hoc projects for Operational Excellence process improvements, regulatory, or industry initiatives
- Working with technology on business initiatives, new product onboarding, and assisting with UAT testing

 

Requirements
- Capable of working in a dynamic and fast pace environment
- Able to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Exercises extreme attention to detail
- Can work in a group environment and independently
- Continuous focus on managing risk
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

Preferred
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Derivative product knowledge
