Role/Title: CCL Tech Shift & Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm; 1 week of call every 4 weeks. 2 weeks of call every 3rd 4 week schedule
Education: Requires high school education or equivalent. Must be a graduate of an accredited two year program in Radiologic Technology or Bachelors level program.
Certifications: Must be certified by ARRT and registered in Cardiac Interventional Radiography
Other: BLS- Basic Life Support. ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support
Job Summary: Assist Cardiologist with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to help diagnose and treat heart and blood vessel diseases. Serve as the operator of the fluoroscopic equipment and table to take images of the heart and blood vessels. Common procedures performed: angioplasty, stenting, thrombolysis, embolization, biopsies, PPM and recorder device placement.
