Treasury Data Management – Banking Products Data Analyst Apply
Treasury Data Management (TDM) is responsible for ensuring data used in key internal and regulatory reports is timely, accurate, and properly controlled. This role will be responsible for supporting Treasury users of Banking Products data (consumer loans, wholesale credit, and deposits products), and is focused on driving strategic efforts to resolve data issues and implement data and process improvements. The Banking Products Team within TDM is responsible for ensuring that the Loans and Deposits data used to calculate and report the Bank's key Liquidity and Capital regulatory ratios, Net Interest Income, internal Transfer Pricing, Hedge Capacity, etc., are timely, accurate, and properly controlled. We serve as the connection point between the business needs of the various Treasury functions (Global Liquidity Management, Enterprise Capital Management, Balance Sheet Management, Global Funding Desk, etc.) and the data required from across the enterprise to meet those needs. Required Skills/Experience: Prior experience in the Financial Services industry (at BAC or a similarly-sized institution) researching and remediating data issues impacting financial, risk, or regulatory reporting functions A balance of strong analytical & problem-solving skills and excellent communication & presentation skills – the ability to dig into complex issues and then summarize in a clear, concise message to facilitate decisions and drive action An understanding of key data analysis concepts, and experience using SQL and Excel to analyze data, identify root-cause issues, and draw conclusions Must be highly organized and self-motivated, able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple priorities simultaneously – able to bring order to chaos Proficiency with Microsoft Office business tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Bachelor's degree, or higher, in Business / related field - or related work experience Desired Skills/Experience: Knowledge/familiarity with loans and deposits products, and/or experience with regulatory or financial reporting of same Prior data management or technology/finance experience in Consumer Banking, Wholesale Credit, or Credit Risk organizations at BAC Strong knowledge or prior experience with Data Controls monitoring and/or Data Control governance practices Familiarity with BAC Enterprise Data Management Policy & Standards and the BAC Risk Framework
