Description:
Inventory clerks are responsible for managing and maintaining high levels of inventory parts or products, including recording new items within a stock room or warehouse with integrity. They track materials or products that come into and go out of the inventory via inventory records.
Additional responsibilities include:
Reviewing and applying inventory activities, including movements and deletions
Updating and maintaining inventory records
Reconciling inventory discrepancies
Implementing a loss prevention program
Creating and implementing effective inventory management procedures
Preparing a list of depleted items and a survey of unusable items
