“Warehouse Tech - Materials Handler”.

A. Qualifications
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. A minimum of three years of warehousing experience. Equivalent education or military experience may be substituted for industry experience
3. Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions
4. Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets and technical drawings
5. Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform other physical tasks required by the job
6. Must be familiar with a ERP enterprise-type system for inventory and warehouse management
7. Must be familiar with DOT 49CFR Hazardous Goods, IATA – International Air Dangerous Goods, ADR – Agreement on Dangerous Goods by Road and IMDG – International Maritime Dangerous Goods regulations in preparing goods for final shipment
8. Must have and maintain a good driving record
9. Sound interpersonal and communication skills

B. Key Duties
1. Must learn and know the required transactions using our ERP enterprise system (SAP+) associated with the Material Handler role
2. Operate a forklift and pallet jack (both electric and manual). Must maintain forklift certification
3. Assist with reviewing, editing, and developing work instructions and other required documents associated with the work area(s)
4. Prepare EQ and RT vessels for shipment
5. Warehouse management:
- Process and track rejected and repaired components (in-house and to/from the vendors)
- Issue parts to departments as needed
- Inventory control of material
- Performing cycle counting requirements
6. Storage, receive, handle and process of chemical raw material drums and other vessels throughout the plant
7. Replenish and inventory of Kan Ban locations
8. Receipt and delivery of ordered materials
9. Perform inventory transactions in our enterprise system
10. Responsible for recycling collection and/or disposition of such items as, but not limited to: pallets, cardboard, scrap metal, plastic and aluminum materials
11. General housekeeping duties inside and outside of the plant
12. Utilize a computer to input and retrieve data
13. Train other technicians as necessary on duties of the Material Handling and Warehousing processes as necessary
14. Participate in the process for entering, collecting and reviewing safety and quality data
15. Required to cross train in other work areas as assigned
