JOB DESCRIPTION: Our client is seeking an experienced Unit Controller II/Financial Analyst who will bring energy and expertise to our Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) operations at Health First in Melbourne, FL. In this role, you will collaborate with the Client HTM leadership team and client leadership to provide data and analytics that will have a significant impact on key strategy and operations of this organization. Our client partnering with Health First offers innovative care, provided with compassion, that is nationally recognized. RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages all accounting and financial matters for one or more accounts/units. Includes accounts payable/receivable, budget, payroll, reporting, inventory, chargebacks, etc. Performs trend analysis to assist decision making. Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to management Provide analytics of operational expenditures, such as repair parts, to assist in standardization Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting and reconciliation of the activities of current and future contracts as assigned per contract terms Medical device capital forecasting Service contract management and evaluation Provide weekly and monthly reporting of key metrics, financial amendments, and budget variances Identify opportunities for performance improvements and efficiencies across the health system Develop models that will help with decision-making. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred 2-4 years of relevant experience in finance, financial planning, & analysis, or other related fields The ability to work as part of a very dynamic leadership team Strong working knowledge of Microsoft tools (Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.) Demonstrate strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, modeling) required; Access database knowledge preferred. Have effective communication skills (written & verbal). Succeed in a team environment. Are customer service oriented. Have strong finance knowledge, as well as strong research and analytical skills. Adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently. Demonstrate excellent organizational skills. Can manage competing priorities and deadlines; and/or generate bold, creative ideas to improve performance and processes. Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills Accuracy and attention to detail. Aptitude and desire to promote to leadership in a very progressive organization. Note: This position offers a traditional Business & Industry, Predominately M-F scheduled. Accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation per year (first year pro-rated based on date of hire). Medical Benefits beginning date of hire, and 401K with company match eligible. Employees in Healthcare and Seniors are required to be fully vaccinated as a term and condition of employment at client no later than February 28, 2022, absent a legally required exception, and are required to report their vaccination status and upload proof of vaccination via an online portal. After February 28, you must be fully vaccinated before you can start work. Fully vaccinated by February 28 means: Obtain the first dose of a two-dose vaccine no later than January 27, 2022; and the second dose no later than February 28, 2022; or Obtain one dose of a single-dose vaccine no later than January 27, 2022.
