Essential Duties & Responsibilities
•Serve as responsive, problem solving intermediary between Tyson plants, adult education, workforce development, and supportive service partners
•Lead or oversee all aspects of planning, launching, and sustaining Upward programs.
•Contribute expertise and technical assistance to all partners to effectively support Upward Academy and Upward Pathway services.
•Contribute to the planning, development, and implementation of comprehensive strategies to further the strength and growth of program services
•Conduct ongoing evaluation and monitoring assessments for existing programs, coordinate and conduct surveys to determine capacity building needs, and provide technical assistance to local providers and contractors in the areas of recruitment and attendance, curriculum and instruction; performance accountability, and partnerships; provide accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout life cycle
•Participate the selection of Tyson team members for services including leading onsite recruitment and information sessions and conducting educational interviews
•Provide solution-oriented leadership for local teams at each location (plant, and adult education, training, and community-based partners)
•Schedule virtual and in-person meetings, log discussions, and facilitate related resources between Upward partners.
•Conduct analyze and prepare reports of findings and recommendations and develop action plans to improve or enhance performance.
•Work with CSR leadership and plants to implement a strategy and deliver a supportive infrastructure for instructor engagement and support
•Organize and support outreach and enrollment events for Upward programs
•Contribute regularly to internal and public facing publications including newsletters, presentation materials, and program management documents
•Support the development of a system for collecting and reporting student achievements and program feedback
•Must be available to travel (car/air) up to 25% time regionally and nationally to visit and support Upward programs
•Intermediate to advanced skills in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint) and video conferencing tools What we’re looking for positively contribute creative solutions and ideas to a high-performing team with exceptional emotional intelligence and an ability to effectively self-reflect, communicate openly, and empathize with others. • Knowledge of U.S. immigrant communities; experience working with diverse stakeholders in a multicultural setting
•Ability to work collaboratively across a diverse organization and ability to move seamlessly from strategy to implementation and execution
•Familiar with principles and policies of adult education and/or workforce development
•Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
•Formal presentation and public speaking skills; professional demeanor
•Strong critical and strategic thinking skills

•Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university plus three years of experience working within adult education, workforce development, TESOL, immigrant integration, or related field. One additional year of full-time qualifying experience may be substituted for each year (30 semester hours) of the required education.
