JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Originate lending opportunities within the Insurance, Advisory, and CPA Lines of Business
• Annual loan origination target: $20MM-$30MM
• Process applications, structure loans, negotiate term sheets, perform initial financial analysis, participate in due diligence, & coordinate loan closings
• Develop new business through proactive sales efforts, including outbound prospecting, leveraging social media to expand network of prospects, and face to face meetings
• Act as front-line contact with potential and existing borrowers to determine what documentation and information is required to process, underwrite, and close loan transactions
• Independently handle multiple, complex transactions at a time with little to no supervision
• Manage a portfolio of commercial lending relationships, including financial statement review, credit analysis, financial ratios, cash flow review, collateral analysis, & deal structure
• Establish good working rapport and creditability with other coworkers by working with Processing, Underwriting, & Servicing personnel to ensure all loans are properly documented and processed
• Demonstrate ability to be a value-added, complimentary member of the team
• Keep ahead of market trends in area of focus
• Work with Marketing and Referral Partners as needed to maximize target prospecting efforts
Requirements:
• Proven experience in sales and negotiations, minimum five years commercial lending experience
• Ability to structure loans while accurately reviewing and assessing business risk through financial statements and credit review
• Knowledge of credit risk analysis and risk based pricing
• Strong business development and relationship management skills
• Detail and results oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Organized with high level analytical and problem solving skills
• Bachelor or Masters degree, or comparable business experience
• Strong PC skills
• Experience working within the niche markets we serve a plus
• Ability to travel occasionally to prospective clients and industry events
