The Electronics Technology Surface Prep & Clean R&D Group develops new products for semiconductor and photovoltaic cleaning formulations. This position will support basic research, new product development, applications engineering activities, as well as additional Electronic customers by performing analysis on multi-component formulations. The position requires applicant(s) to have a strong working knowledgeable of GC, HPLC, and IC systems. Having additional understanding with GC/MS, HPLC/MS, and/or UV/Vis instrumentation is an additional benefit. The person will also share in the responsibility to maintain a safe and clean lab environment by following all safe laboratory practices. QUALIFICATIONS A B.S. degree in chemistry is preferred. An A.S./B.S. degree in a related field will also be considered with relevant laboratory experience. Minimum ? Possess at least 1-2 years of industrial experience working in a chemical laboratory setting. Applicant(s) must possess: ?Strong communication skills, both oral and written. ?Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the group in a team environment. ?Working knowledge of software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including 12 hour shifts, and OT as needed.
