JOB DESCRIPTION :
Warehouse Associate- Ideal candidate will have prior warehouse experience, puling orders, finding locations, palletizing, ability to follow direction as well as CDC COVID protocol in place at location. Must be willing and able to stand for long periods of time, as this is a warehouse and you will be moving around different locations, changing between different tasks. Must be able to pay attention to detail, follow instructions and work with little supervision. Attendance and reliability is extremely important as each employee’s daily task will be crucial as this is a new warehouse set up.

Monday-Friday
Shift: Swing: 2pm start
$16.50 Starting DOE

POSITION PURPOSE
The purpose of this position is to: This position receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.




ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with shipping and receiving, loading and unloading trucks, checking in merchandise.
Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped.
Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type or product code.
Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for other warehouse staff and customer traffic as assigned.
Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department.
Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
Open bales, crates and other containers.
Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program.
Assist in the counting of physical inventory.
Weigh and count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.
Sweep, dust, mop and organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
Wear the proper safety equipment.
