JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties: the individual will be working out under our canopy sorting empty keg barrels for the Fourth of July holiday weeks.
Must have steel toe boots and be able to lift up to 40lbs.
Schedule: M-F 10am-6:30pmEnsure accurate storage, movement, loading and distribution of product in a safe and productive manner.
Duties and Responsibilities Rotate stock, always shipping the oldest product first, in accordance with product code date requirements.
Operate warehouse equipment including, but not limited to, forklifts, pallet jacks, sweepers, scrubbers, in a safe, efficient and professional manner.
Follow prescribed maintenance guidelines and equipment preventative maintenance schedules, and conduct a pre-trip inspection before operating any equipment.
Demonstrate a good knowledge of our products, including product identification, storage location, and proper handling and storage methods.
Load route trucks with the correct items and quantities in the prescribed manner that allows efficient deliveries.
Ensure that no product is loaded or reloaded without appropriate paperwork, and report any suspicious or unauthorized removal of product.
Fill orders for customer will calls.
Strip route trucks after delivery routes have been completed.
Follow all security procedures to safeguard employees and the facility and prevent injury and product loss.
Maintain warehouse to high sanitary and cleanliness standards.
Accurately record all hours of work and meal breaks each workday.
Perform work tasks safely, contribute to overall safe work environment and immediately report any unsafe conditions.
Follow all company policies not specifically outlined in this description.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Handle returned goods per SOP provided if neededPhysical Demands The employee is regularly required to lift and carry objects, use tools, and operate vehicles and equipment controls.
The employee must be able to lift products from 25lbs to 50 lbs.
on a regular basis and up to 170 lbs.
when handling keg products.
The employee may also be required to bend, lift, squat, sit, stand and work in tight confined spaces and refrigerated rooms for prolonged periods of time.
Must have the ability to work in hot and cold temperatures.
Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
Prefer individuals with previous warehouse work experience.
Must have experience operating a forklift and ability to obtain forklift certification.
Must have the ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, sweepers, scrubbers, and other equipment in a safe, responsible and professional manner.
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to effectively communicate with the shift supervisor, co-workers and other departments on work-related issues in a timely manner.
Complete all records, forms or reports accurately and in a timely manner.
Ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers.
