Our trusted financial advisors are equipped with access to the investment insights of Merrill Lynch coupled with the banking convenience of Client.</i></p> <p> </p> <p><b><u>Job Description</u></b></p> <p>The Private Wealth Strategies Analyst supports Merrill Private Wealth Strategists by reviewing and analyzing existing and prospective clients' estate planning documents and preparing summaries. Assists with preparation of presentations focused on advanced estate planning strategies that clients should consider in light of their wealth transfer goals. Assists in the coordination of workshops to provide estate planning consultative guidance to financial advisors and clients. Executes and delivers on special projects as needed. This position does not have specific client acquisition metrics or requirements.</p> <p> </p> <p><b><u>Education / Degrees:</u></b></p> <p>• Law degree or CPA license preferred</p> <p>• Advanced degree or certification (e.g. LL.M., MST, CFPTM) is a plus</p> <p>• Series 7, 63/65 or 66 (or ability to obtain within 120 days with company assistance and support)</p> <p> </p> <p><u><b>Work Experience:</b></u></p> <p>• Familiarity with and Microsoft Office suite (e.g. Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)</p> <p>• Private legal, CPA practice or financial planning experience for high net worth clients a plus</p> <p> </p> <p><u><b>Other:</b></u></p> <p>• Strong communication and presentation skills</p> <p>• Travel - 10%</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> </div>
