```Job Overview```
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ABA Therapist to join our team. As an ABA Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing behavioral therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities. Your primary responsibility will be to implement behavior intervention plans and collect data to monitor progress.
```Duties```
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect and analyze data on client progress and behavior
- Assist with the development of treatment goals and strategies
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients
- Teach and reinforce appropriate behaviors using evidence-based techniques
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the client's care
- Document client progress and maintain accurate medical documentation
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of client information
```Skills```
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong data collection skills to accurately track client progress
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to developmental disabilities
- Experience working with children with developmental disabilities
- Familiarity with medical documentation practices
- Understanding of behavioral health principles and techniques
- Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and their impact on individuals with developmental disabilities
- Familiarity with special education practices and strategies
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals of all ages and backgrounds
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others
