About the Role: As an Tutor at Tutor Me Education, you’ll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes. You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

We are currently hiring for multiple positions across all cities in Hesperia, CA

Details:

• In-Person Tutoring in Hesperia, CA
• Schedule: 3 sessions a week for 2 hour sessions
• Competitive hourly rate based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction in foundational math concepts and English language skills.
• Assist with understanding and managing the homeschooling curriculum and assignments.
• Incorporate the student’s interests, including sports and historical data, to enhance engagement and learning.
• Implement consistent structure and gentle behavioral support strategies to encourage positive behaviors and sustained focus.
• Collaborate with occupational therapy providers by reinforcing recommended strategies during sessions.
• Build the student’s academic confidence through encouragement and creative teaching approaches.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with homeschooled students or those with academic regression.
• Strong skills in elementary math and English instruction.
• Ability to provide behavioral support and maintain an encouraging learning environment.
• Creative and patient approach to tutoring.
