CRD General Services is seeking a skilled Access Control Technician to work in Central, LA. This is a great opportunity to showcase your skills and grow with a well-known company.
Location: Central, LA
Hours: Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm (may be scheduled as 5 days/8 hours or 4 days/10 hours, includes occasional call-out work)
Pay: $20-$27 per hour depending on experience and $130/day per diem for travel
Responsibilities
· Install, wire, and program access control systems.
· Set up software to manage access levels and user permissions.
· Troubleshoot issues such as failed readers, door strikes, or software errors.
· Integrate access control with other security systems, including alarms and CCTV.
· Ensure proper operation of doors, locks, and electronic strikes.
· Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, user access, and maintenance activities.
Qualifications
· Knowledge of wiring, relays, and low-voltage systems.
· Experience with access control software programming and user management.
· Understanding security protocols, standards, and best practices.
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
· Attention to detail and commitment to safety and security.
