Role Description

The Account Executive for Media Relations will play an integral role in managing client accounts and shaping brand narratives in alignment with client goals. Responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day client communication, developing and executing media relations strategies, building strong relationships with media outlets, and assisting in the execution of social and digital media campaigns.


This is a full-time, on-site position located in West Hollywood, CA.


Qualifications and Skills

  • At least two (2) or more years of relevant experience in PR at an agency or in-house, with beauty, fashion, and luxury industries
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing or related field
  • Strong time management, organizational skills and attention to detail is a must
  • Proven experience building and maintaining strong relationships with editors and key media contacts across print, digital, and broadcast
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to craft compelling pitches, press materials, and client communications
  • Demonstrated success securing media placements and managing outreach across multiple clients simultaneously
  • Ability to think strategically while executing quickly in a fast-paced agency environment
  • Proficiency in tools such as Muck Rack, Canva, Google Suite, and media monitoring platforms


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day media relations efforts across a portfolio of clients in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle
  • Develop creative, timely pitch angles tied to trends, cultural moments, and seasonal opportunities
  • Build and maintain targeted media lists and continuously expand press relationships
  • Secure high-impact coverage across digital, print, and broadcast outlets
  • Manage incoming media requests, product send-outs, and sample trafficking
  • Draft and edit press materials including pitches, press releases, media alerts, and briefing documents
  • Assist in planning and executing press events, brand activations, and media previews
  • Monitor coverage, compile press reports, and track campaign performance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams on integrated campaigns


Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $65,000 - $70,000
