CONCEPT: This is not a telemarketing job. Understands the level of quality and workmanship that is required to be a successful employee and member of his/her team.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential responsibilities for this position include:
- Sales duties include telephone calls, walk-in customers, email leads.
- Quote product pricing and information according to customer’s specifications/needs via telephone, fax, email or written correspondence.
- Maintain existing dealer accounts as well as setup new dealer accounts.
- Write up work orders for products and communicate to manufacturing.
- Obtain any necessary deposits/down payments on orders and arrange for balance due upon pickup or delivery of the product.
- Handle the questions/concerns from other sales staff customer’s in their absence.
- Attend trade shows (may include weekends) across the country, including driving to and from the shows, this includes setup and tear down. Note: Trade shows are very limited. 10-20 days per year maximum.
- Research special products that may be needed for custom orders. Able to research/purchase vendor items.
- Gather necessary warranty information from customers or dealers and get it to the appropriate personnel.
- Strive to exceed weekly, monthly and yearly sales goals.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as marketing, business, advertising or equivalent experience preferred.
- Excellent English, writing, people and communication skills
Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years of sales and/or marketing experience preferred, with an emphasis in social media marketing. We will train or provide additional training as needed.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, but will consider all applicants.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other department and team members is critically important.
- Strong verbal, written, math skills and previous manufacturing experience preferred.
- Must be highly motivated and self-directed.
- Demonstrated desire to work in a dynamic customer service environment going above and beyond to satisfy the customer.
- Excellent communication, customer service and sales skills, including resolving customer grievances in positive and empathetic manner.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize work.
