Account ExecutiveThe Account Executive is a front-line, street sales role focused on opening new restaurant business, growing existing accounts and winning share in a highly competitive market.This role reports directly to the District Sales Manager and is ideal for someone who thrives on prospecting, competition and face to face selling in the restaurant environment.What you'll do:Prospect daily to open new restaurant accounts (independent and regional chains)Build a full territory through cold calls, drop ins, referrals and follow upsGrow sales through menu placement, product penetration and consistent maintenanceHit or exceed weekly activity goals and sales KPIs (new business, penetration and retention)Manage your route with urgency. Own your schedule, targets and resultsDevelop strong relationships with chefs, owners and managersCompete for business in a crowded market and win on service, product and executionCommunicate market feedback, competitive activity and opportunities to leadershipWhat you bring to the table:Restaurant experience (FOH, BOH, management of foodservice sales)Proven street sales or hunter mentalityComfortable with cold calling and rejectionCompetitive, self motivated and accountableStrong communication and relationship building skillsOrganized, disciplined and able to manage a fast moving territoryValid driver's license, daily travel requiredNice to have:Prior foodservice or distribution sales experienceCRM experience and basic tech proficiencyCollege degree or equivalent real world experiencePhysical Requirements:Lift up to 50lbsFrequent walking, standing and bendingExtensive local travelFerraro Foods is an Equal Opportunity Employer
